
Paul D. Stell, CEO
A graduate of Texas Tech University and Harvard University, Paul has been in the Real Estate business since 1989. As a co-founder of the company, Paul focused initially on real estate investments. Paul also started the firm's management operations which later became Stellar Management Company. Currently, Paul focuses on the firm's strategic planning and implementation and oversees the company's investment activities.
A native of Lubbock, Paul is active in several community organizations serving on the Plains Capital Bank Board, Covenant Children's Hospital Board, Covenant Foundation Board, The Lubbock Children's Home Foundation Board, The Texas Boy's Ranch Foundation Board and the Lubbock Apartment Association Board. Additionally, Paul serves as an advisor to the Harvard Real Estate Academic Initiative.
Paul is married to Susie and they have 3 children - David, Berkley and Pierce.
Charles Young, President
Charles is a fourteen-year veteran of multi-family asset management. In 1990, he began his career in property management as a passive owner of two apartment communities. From 1990 to 1996 Charles honed his skills in management and leadership with Roche Pharmaceuticals, a Fortune 500 company.
His full time career in property management began in 1996 when Charles took over the task of building a management organization for Hurt & Stell properties. For the next two years Charles worked at building an infrastructure of systems and people to support future growth. In 1998 Charles took the company's capabilities and moved into fee management.
Charles has continued to move Stellar Management along a path of seeking to be "Best in Class." His reputation in the areas of leadership and management has Charles speaking regularly for industry education events. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Texas Apartment Association

Dave Marcinkowski, COO
Dave began in apartment management in 1992 working for Ed Rose and Sons, a company which managed 17,000 of their own class B and C units. In four years, Dave went from Staff Accountant to overseeing their entire Accounting Department. During this time, Dave spearheaded Ed Rose's move from manual accounting ledgers to using computers for their accounting systems.
In 1996, Dave moved to Chicago to work for Marquette Management. Initially, he was responsible for the implementation and training of Yardi across Marquette's entire portfolio of mainly Class A apartments owned by institutional investors. He soon was responsible for all training across all positions at Marquette. Dave wrote all of Marquette's training manuals and materials. He also reengineered most of Marquette's systems utilizing Yardi and other technology to levels unmatched in the industry. Dave spent his last year at Marquette being groomed to take over the company's operations.
In 2004, Dave, his wife Laura and son Ben moved to Lubbock (Laura's hometown) to become Stellar Management's Chief Operating Officer.
Dave is a graduate of Albion College in Michigan where he received a degree in Economics with a concentration in Accounting. He also has a Masters in Project Management and is more than halfway through his MBA from Keller Graduate School.

Gary Hall, Vice President - Acquisitions
Since joining the company in 1997, Gary has focused exclusively on the acquisition and development of multifamily assets for the Stellar portfolio. Gary has overseen the due diligence, physical inspection, financial analysis and contractual administration for the takeover of over $90 Million of multifamily investment property and has managed the construction process on many of Stellar's significant rehabilitation projects. Gary also takes an active role in other commercial development projects which Stellar chooses to pursue.
Gary received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.
