  • Conventional or market-rate multifamily assets are Stellar's bread and butter product type - more specifically, the acquisition and rehabilitation and/or repositioning of market-rate assets is what Stellar pursues most aggressively.
  • Our skilled acquisition, due diligence and property management teams are experts in assessing a continuous flow of potential acquisitions, evaluating the feasibility and purchase of a select group of assets and then executing our strategic short-term management transition plan while preparing the way for the implementation of our longer range asset value enhancement plan.
Affordable Housing
  • Over the years, Stellar has acquired multiple assets in the affordable housing arena. From housing tax credit properties to project-based Section 8 communities, Stellar has experience with many of the affordable program areas.
  • Stellar is continuously on the lookout for affordable housing assets in good areas. Owning and managing affordable housing communities accomplishes multiple goals for our organization - the goal of strengthening the communities in which we work and the goal of maintaining a well-performing and diversified investment portfolio.
Student Housing
  • Stellar's home base is Lubbock, Texas - also home to over 28,000 students attending Texas Tech University. Stellar started in Lubbock and therefore has been exposed to owning and managing student housing since day one. We are very comfortable with planning and budgeting for the unique challenges inherent to student housing and university markets.
Senior Housing
  • Because of the rising demand for quality, affordable senior housing, Stellar has started to pursuer senior assets in solid markets. One of the key focal points for value creation is the development and implementation of a 'lifestyle' program for seniors living at our communities. We believe that by providing benefits and services that our senior residents value, we can develop a relationship that lasts.
